INFOMy name is Jeffrey Maclean, I also go by the sketch name of INKSQUIRE. The world of biro art drawings started when i found the world of poetry at the tender age of 14. I fell in love with words and the way i could create a world in my or someone else's mind. This fascinated my creative spirit. As time pushed on my way with words on paper slowly developed into me creating my own unique font by creating, what i call the [pen brush] effect with ink. My inspiration comes from everything, from conversations, people, documentaries, love, loss, anger, relationships, confusion, film, dance, the future and this unique and sometimes crazy world we live in. With my work I try to capture the brain in it's active state in order for it to be prepared to work things out by bringing fresh yet dynamic looks to my projects and pieces. The world of INKSQUIRE is a complex world from the outset but once the mind is engaged and working all will become clear.

Having been through many different fields trying to find my creative flare, little did I know that the very thing which I did as a Hobby would blossom into what you see today. Biro Ink can be a tricky and challenging medium to work with at times so a lot of prep and thoughtful planing goes into every and any piece I produce.

I have a huge admiration for the abstract things in life be it people, places or programmes I'm always drawn in that direction, having saying that it gives me an insight into what the naked eye sometimes misses and this is what I like to bring to my work be it client based or personal.
